35 SC employees tested positive for COVID, called full meeting

KATHMANDU: JAN. 18 – A full meeting of the Supreme Court is being held. After the COVID-19 infection, a complete meeting was convened for the employees at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, according to court spokesperson Baburam Dahal.

35 court employees have tested positive for COVID-19, according to Dahal, the court’s spokesperson. More than 30 other employees are also having COVID-19 symptoms.

Following that, a meeting was called to consider how to take the court administration forward. According to Dahal, all of the judges have been contacted for the meeting.

According to him, the meeting will focus on service cuts. “After seeing COVID-19 among the friends, there will be a discussion on how to move the service forward,” he said. Now the service may have to be suspended, ‘spokesperson Dahal told Makalu Khabar.

Due to the judges’ objection, Chief Justice Rana would not be present at the full meeting. The final decision will be signed by Chief Justice Rana following a meeting of the judges.
