Gandaki Chief Minister Gurung contracts COVID-19

POKHARA: JAN. 18 – Former Gandaki Chief Minister and UML Deputy General Secretary Prithvi Subba Gurung contract COVID-19. COVID-19 infection was confirmed through tests based on common symptoms.

He posted the status on his Facebook page, urging everyone in contact with him to stay safe. “I am on home isolation after the COVID-19 infection was confirmed. Even though I don’t feel awkward, I am at ease. The phone may not pick up. Everyone who comes in contact with me is requested to get a health check-up, ”said Gurung.

The infection of COVID-19 has spread rapidly as a result of the national convention of political parties and various activities. The UML district convention has recently concluded. The majority of the leaders who attended the Kaski district conference are now infected and resting.
