UML leadership elected in 40 districts, most new faces (with list)

KATHMANDU: JAN. 10 – The Communist Party of Nepal (UML) has elected district chairs in 40 districts. UML had inaugurated conventions in 64 districts simultaneously. In 40 districts, chairpersons have been elected. Leader Rajan Bhattarai said that elections are being held in other districts.

According to Bhattarai, the leadership has been elected unanimously in the majority of the districts. Similarly, the leadership of two special district committees has been chosen by UML. Jitendra Shrestha and Umesh Dhakal lead the Labor Special Committee and the Professional Special Committee, respectively.
