1167 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU: JAN. 9 – A total of 1167 new coronavirus infections have been reported in the country in the previous 24 hours. Coronavirus was confirmed in 1167 people after 12 thousand 632 samples were tested across the country, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

Likewise, in the previous 24 hours, 224 people have been cured and two have died.

Currently, 6,755 people in the country are actively infected.

615 people have been infected in the Kathmandu Valley in the previous 24 hours. In Kathmandu, there are 491; in Lalitpur, 99; and in Bhaktapur, there are 25.
