Jyoti Bikash Bank’s 15.5 percent dividend passed

KATHMANDU: JAN. 9 – The 14th Annual General Meeting of Jyoti Bikash Bank concluded on Friday.

The General Assembly has passed a proposal to provide 11 percent bonus share and a 4.5 percent cash dividend of the existing paid-up capital to the shareholders as proposed by the Board of Directors of the bank.

The bank’s paid-up capital has reached Rs 4.26 billion after the bank passed 11 percent bonus shares. Arrangements were also made to participate in the annual general meeting through online (virtual) technology.

The bank has also inaugurated three new branch offices at Tamghas, Murgiya and Tandi on the occasion of the general meeting.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Hari Prasad inaugurated the branch offices through digital technology. The number of branches of the bank has reached 108 in the valley and outside the valley.
