Government to accept Rs 10.39 billion loan assistance of Japan

KATHMANDU: JAN. 6 – A loan of Rs. 10.39 billion has been approved which is to be given by the Japanese government to be spent on Nepal’s economic growth and productive sector.

According to Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, government spokesperson and Minister of Communications and Information Technology, a cabinet meeting conducted on Wednesday decided to accept the loan assistance.

Minister Karki stated that the cabinet meeting on Wednesday agreed to approve the Police (Ninth Amendment) Rules, 2078 BS in order to increase police morale.
