Fire ravages three houses

PANCHTHAR: JAN. 6 – On Wednesday evening, a fire devastated three houses in Falelung Rural Municipality-6, Barbhanjyang.

The fire that started in Jeet Bahadur Meyongba’s house damaged the houses of Ramjeet Rai and Man Bahadur Rai. According to Khagendra Rai, a local, the flame engulfed over a half-dozen shops, including the IME office established up in the houses.

Two Phidim fire engines were used to extinguish the fire. Locals suspected that the fire was started by an electric short circuit.
