Proposal to give public holiday on Thursday

KATHMANDU: DEC. 29 – The Ministry of Home Affairs has proposed a public holiday on Thursday (tomorrow). The Ministry of Home Affairs is preparing to forward the proposal for a public holiday on Thursday to the Council of Ministers.

The ministry is preparing to present the proposal at the cabinet meeting, which is scheduled for 4 p.m. today. The Gurung community celebrates ‘Tamu Lhosar’ and welcomes the new year.
