KATHMANDU: DEC. 8 – Nepal recorded a total of 280 new cases of coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 100 people in Kathmandu, 31 in Lalitpur, and 15 in Bhaktapur have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total number of additional coronavirus cases in the Kathmandu valley to 146 in the last 24 hours.

Two more people have died from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry.

Meanwhile, 336 people have returned home after recovering completely from COVID-19.
