Greenery in NEPSE on the first day after Dashain

KATHMANDU: OCT. 17 – The stock market, which has been closed for five days due to the holiday in Dashain, has been green since Sunday. While the transaction amount decreased to Rs One billion 497.3 million, NEPSE increased by 17.5.5 points to reach 2,656 points.

Although the mutual fund group declined on Sunday, it has increased in all other groups. The largest increase was in the non-life insurance group by an average of 122.47 points.

The highest earners on Sunday were Chandragiri Hills, Himalayan Energy, Ghalemdi Hydro, Kamana Sewa and Prudential Insurance.

Share prices of companies including Citizen Mutual Fund 2, Bottlers Nepal Terai, Kalika Microfinance, Citizen Mutual Fund 1 and Malungkhola Hydropower have declined.
