Nepal sees 1,095 new COVID-19 cases, 8 deaths in last 24 hours

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 20 – A further 1,095 coronavirus infections have been confirmed in Nepal on Monday.

According to the Ministry of Health, corona infection has been confirmed in 975 people out of 10,786 PCR tests conducted in the country and 120 in 3,031 antigen tests.

At the same time, the number of coronavirus infections in Nepal has reached 874,629.

According to the Ministry, another 8 more deaths have been reported, bringing the death toll to 11,048.

Meanwhile, 2,957 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.

At present, there are 22,323 active infected isolation and 264 quarantined people in Nepal, according to the ministry.
