Two bodies were found in a pond in Dhanusha

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 20 – Two bodies have been found drowned in a pond in Dhanusha Municipality-2.

The body was recovered from the pond and further investigation is underway, said Jitendra Basnet, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Dhanusha. “Two bodies have been found,” said Superintendent Basnet. “There is also a woman and a small child.” Preliminary research so far has shown that they are mother and son. ‘

The locals had informed the Area Police Office, Dhanushadham after seeing the body floating in the pond. Police have reached the spot and investigation is underway, said Superintendent Basnet.
