Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll rises to 11,040

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 19 – Nepal reported a total of 734 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 656 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 78 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, another 12 more deaths have been reported, bringing the death toll to 11,040.

About 1,413 patients have been released after recovery, bringing the total number of cured and discharged to 749,213.

Currently, there are 24,313 active cases in Nepal.
