Nepal reports 1,558 new COVID-19 cases, 10 deaths in last 24 hours

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 17 – Nepal recorded a total of 1,558 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1,086 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 472 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 10 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours bringing the death toll 11,012.

Meanwhile, 1,351 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
