Nepal is to play against USA today

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 17 – Nepal is playing its third match against the United States today in the triangular cricket series under the ICC World Cup League-2. The game is starting at 4:15 pm Nepali time.

Earlier, Nepal had made a great start to the series by defeating the United States by five wickets on Monday. In the second match, Nepal lost to Oman by five wickets. Similarly, Oman defeated USA by 4 wickets in the match played on Thursday.

The Nepali team has gone to Oman to play a triangular cricket series under the World Cup League-2 with Oman and the United States. The team captained by Gyanendra Malla includes Gulshan Jha, Dipendra Singh Airee, Kushal Bhurtel, Aasif Sheikh, Aarif Sheikh, Kushal Malla, Binod Bhandari, Karan KC, Sompal Kami, Sandeep Lamichhane, Pawan Sharraf, Abinash Bohara, Rohit Kumar Poudel, Sushan Bhari, Sharad Bheswakar and Bikram Sob are in the team.

The team consists of head coach Dav Whatmore, manager Mohammad Dawood Ansari, technical analyst Raman Siwakoti, physio Bikram Neupane and trainer Rakesh Kashibhai Gohil.

The Oman series will run until Sept. 20. In the triangular series, Nepal will play two games against Oman and the United States.
