NRNA Korea’s regional chair Bhujel passes away

KATHMANDU: JULY 26 -Madan Bhujel, the regional chairperson of NRNA South Korea, died due to cardiac arrest. On Saturday evening, Bhujel collapsed while resting after playing football with his colleagues.

Bhujel was rushed to the hospital after he fell unconscious. On Sunday morning, the hospital pronounced him dead during treatment.

He was elected chair of the Chungnam regional committee at the NRNA Korea’s recent regional convention.

The NRNA Korea has officially confirmed Bhujel’s death and issued a condolence message in his demise.

Noting that Bhujel’s death has resulted in an irreparable loss to NRNA Korea, the swearing-in ceremony of newly-elected NRNA office-bearers has been postponed until further notice.

Bhujel has spent the last 12 years in South Korea. His wife and children are currently in Nepal. His lifeless body is being kept in a nearby hospital for the time being, according to Korean police.
