Almutairi, the head coach of the national football team, has announced his resignation

KATHMANDU: JULY 25 – Abdullah Almutairi, the head coach of Nepal’s national football team, has announced his resignation.

He announced on the social network Facebook that he was about to resign from the Nepal Football Association (ANFA). He stated that he resigned due to the decision of ANFA senior vice president Pankaj Bikram Nemwang.

In the last three weeks, he has accused Nemwang of acting against him. “I hope you’re happy now,” he said to Nemwang.

According to the recommendation of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) technical committee in March 31, the ANFA secretariat assigned him the role of coach.
