KATHMANDU: JULY 23 – UML Vice-Chairman Bhim Rawal has withdrawn his resignation from the House of Representatives. At the urging of voters, party leaders and leaders in his constituency, Rawal withdrew his resignation.

Rawal reached the Parliament Secretariat on Friday (today) and met Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota and took him back to politics. Rawal had resigned on July 18 saying that it was a political mess and that he was trying to avoid it.

Earlier, party president KP Sharma Oli, senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal and other leaders had called for his resignation. After this, Rawal withdrew his resignation. Rawal said that he resigned after everyone’s request. “Everyone, the voters, the leaders have requested, I have withdrawn after this,” Rawal said.
