As soon as he met Madhav and Upendra, Prachanda reached Baluwatar

KATHMANDU: JULY 20 – Discussions have started between Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN-Maoist Central Committee Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’. Discussions have started between them at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.

Earlier in the day, Prachanda had met senior CPN-UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal and People’s Socialist Party chairman Upendra Yadav. It is said that the expansion of the Council of Ministers will be discussed with Prime Minister Deuba.

At present, Deuba has three ministers from the Nepali Congress and two from the Maoists. After taking the vote of confidence on Sunday, Deuba is preparing to expand the cabinet. The meeting between Prime Minister Deuba and Prachanda in Baluwatar has been viewed in meaningfully.
