KATHMANDU: JULY 10 – The 1.5 million dose of vaccine against COVID-19, which is being provided to Nepal by the United States, is scheduled to arrive in Nepal on Monday.

Rajan Bhattarai, the foreign affairs adviser to the prime minister, said that 1.5 million doses of Johnson & Johnson company’s vaccine, which will be provided by the US under Covax, would arrive in Kathmandu on Monday morning. The United States is offering the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which can be administered with just one dose, for free.
