TVS NTORQ Scooter surpasses sales target of 1 lakh units

KATHMANDU: JUNE 9 – TVS Motor Company, a two-wheeler and three-wheeler manufacturer worldwide, has announced that the TVS NTORQ 125 scooter has surpassed the sales target of 100,000 units. The sporty Bluetooth-connected scooter has surpassed the sales target of 100,000 units in the international market, the company said.

In 2018, TVS NTORQ 125 was launched as the first Bluetooth connected scooter in India. The company says that this scooter is excellent in the international market with its unique style and strong performance. Today, TVS NTORQ is sold in 19 countries in South Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Asia, the company said.

Speaking on the occasion, Director and CEO of TVS Motor Company K. N. Radhakrishnan said, “We are very happy that our smart scooter TVS NTORQ 125 has achieved its target of 100,000 BVRs in the international market. Since its starts, scooters have been popular with Gen Z customers worldwide. Strong presence, excellent technology and high performance TVS NTORQ 125 is a feature of the brand experience.”

The TVS NTORQ 125 was first launched in Nepal at the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Auto Show. Since then, this scooter has become the first choice among Nepali customers as it was designed especially for the youth and the scooter is based on TVS Racing Pedigree and is available with state-of-the-art CVTI-REVV3 valve engine. The scooter also launched a special technology platform – TVS Smart Connect.

Jagdamba Motors launches NTORQ Race Edition in Nepal. The Race Edition has LED DRL and LED headlamps that provide better illumination than regular halogen units. In addition, the scooter has Hazard lamps that can be switched on with the help of a red Hazard switch.

Shahid Agrawal, Managing Director, Jagdamba Motors, said at the public event of the TVS NTORQ 125 race edition: “This scooter has become popular among all the customers and I am sure that the Race Edition will provide more entertainment and satisfaction.”

After that, TVS Motor Company unveiled the new NTORQ 125 Super Squad Edition in Nepal.

The NTORQ 125 is available in the Nepali market in three variants – Regular NTORQ 125, NTORQ 125 Race Edition and NTORQ Super Squad Edition.

Regular NTORQ 125 is priced at Nepali Rupees 218,900 (drums) and 245,900 (discs), NTORQ 125 Race Edition is priced at Nepali Rupees 261,900 and FI is priced at Nepali Rupees 277,900. The price of Super Squad Edition is Nepali Rupees 266,900.

The TVS NTORQ 125 is available in three variants – disc, drum and race edition. It is available in Matte Red, Metallic Gray, Metallic Red, Metallic Blue. Race Edition is available in Red-Black and Yellow-Black.
