The National Innovation Center and the British College will co-operate in the Covid-19 relief work

KATHMANDU: JUNE 7 – The British College in Thapathali and the National Innovation Center have jointly announced new social welfare assistance.

The two organizations have stated that they will jointly launch a project to energize the National Innovation Center and strengthen the relief work to help Nepal in the current crisis.

Mahendra Raj Kandel, director of the college, said, “We are very happy to partner with the National Innovation Center. British College has long been involved in such partnerships and social work. We believe that this will play a very helpful role in the fight against Covid-19. We will continue to do these kinds of partnerships and CSR in the days to come. ‘

In this context, TBC and NIC will jointly promote the COVID-19 relief program in various ways.

Investigate new developments in the field of relief, develop safety equipment to assist those working on the frontline, and repair and bring in relevant medical equipment such as ventilators.

Assistance will be provided to those most in need to ensure distribution and access focus. Research will be done on related projects by college students at TBC’s Innovation Hub and Incubation Center.

Conduct seminars, webinars and workshops to be supervised and encouraged by NIC officials. It is expected to develop thinking on how to deal with the crisis in the midst of an epidemic.
