KATHMANDU: JUNE 24 – Portugal’s world-famous star Cristiano Ronaldo has equaled the record for the most international goals scored in world football. Ronaldo has equaled Iranian footballer Ali Daei’s record by scoring 109 goals for the national team in 178 games.

In Wednesday night’s Euro 2020 match, Ronaldo set a record by scoring two goals on penalties against France. He also ended the history of not being able to score against France. Ali Daei scored the most 109 goals for Iran from 1993 to 2006. Ronaldo and Ali Daei are among the players who have scored more than 90 goals in international football.

Ronaldo also became the highest scoring player in the main competition (World Cup and Euro Cup). He broke the record of Miroslav Klose of Germany. Klose scored 19 goals. Ronaldo managed to score 20 goals. Ronaldo has scored 13 goals in the European Championship. In this competition, he became the highest scoring player in the European Championship.

Ronaldo has scored 31-31 in European Championship and World Cup qualifiers, 19 in international friendlies, 13 in European Championships, seven in World Cups, five in UEFA Nations League and two in Confederations Cup.

Ronaldo scored almost all of the goals for the national team in the last 30 minutes of the game. He has scored 31 goals in the last 15 minutes of the game and 22 goals between 61 and 75 minutes. He has scored 17 goals in 16 to 30 minutes of the game and 16 goals in 31 to 45 minutes.

He has scored 11 goals in the first 15 minutes and 12 goals in the first 15 minutes of the second half. He is known as a player who can score goals at any time on the field. Ronaldo has scored 89 goals from inside the box and 20 from outside. He has scored 14 goals through penalties and 9 through free kicks.
