Health supplies sent from China’s Sichuan Province have arrived in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: WEDNESDAY, MAY 19, 2021 – Health items including oxygen cylinders and generators provided by China’s Sichuan Province have arrived in Nepal. Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi informed that medical equipments have arrived in Kathmandu.

Sichuan Province has provided more than Rs 55.5 million worth of Covid-19 medical supplies to the government. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, essential health items including oxygen cylinders, oxygen concentrators, PPEs and masks have arrived in Nepal.

Earlier, China had provided 400 oxygen cylinders and 10 ventilators.
