Infected children, ages of 20 and 29 are also at risk

KATHMANDU: MONDAY, APRIL 26, 2021 – From Covid-19, the age group of 20 to 29 years is more at risk in Nepal. In the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Population released a statement on Sunday stating that out of a total of 3,122 infected people, 795 were between the ages of 20 and 29.

The second group is in the age group of 30 to 39 years. The number of infected people in this age group is 677. Similarly, 62 people in the age group of 9 years have been infected and 278 people in the age group of 10 to 19 years have been confirmed infected.

Covid infection is also seen in senior citizens above 90 years of age. Of those tested, Covid infection was confirmed in five people in the age group of 90 to 100 years, the ministry said.
