DHADING: SUNDAY, APRIL 18, 2021 – A concrete bridge under construction over the Trishuli River has been blown away by strong winds on Saturday.

The hurricane blew away the concrete bridge over the Trishuli River connecting Galchhi Rural Municipality-2 Keurinitar to Prithvi Highway in Ward No. 4 Mastar.

Village Municipality Vice-Chairperson Radha Timalsina said that the construction work was halted after the truss was removed due to the storm.

Construction of the bridge began three years ago.

Vice-Chairman Timalsina said that the contractor company has been requested to make a plan to work on the slope as soon as possible even if the storm blows.
