Congress Central Committee meeting on Chaith 20

KATHMANDU: WEDNESDAY, MARCH 24, 2021 – The meeting of the Central Working Committee of the Nepali Congress is scheduled to be held on Chaith 20. The meeting was convened to discuss the schedule of the 14th general convention, said party chief secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel.

He said that contemporary politics will also be discussed in the meeting. Although the date of the 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress has been fixed for Bhadra 7, the work has not been done as per the schedule.

Earlier, the deadline for submitting active membership was Chaith 10, but the details of all active members have not been made public yet.

Despite the policy of renewing and distributing active membership as per the policy of giving active membership to one million people till the 14th General Convention, the Congress has stated that only four lakh figures have reached the central office.
