A rank mark for 60 police officers

Kathmandu. Sixty police officers have been given rank marks.

As per the decision of the Home Secretary level of the Government of Nepal on Magh 26, 60 police officers who have been promoted to the post of Technical Police Inspector have been given rank marks. Inspector General of Police Shailesh Thapa Chhetri presented the insignia to him during a function held at the Police Headquarters on Thursday.

Among those decorated with the rank insignia are 38 out of 46 promoted from Inspector of Police to the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police and 22 out of 23 promoted to the post of Technical Inspector of Police from various groups. Eight promoted Deputy Superintendents of Police and one Technical Inspector of Police are currently serving in the UN Mission.

On the occasion, Inspector General of Police Thapa Chhetri congratulated the promoted police officers and directed them to play their professional role as expected. He said that the organization expects all the police personnel to work continuously to maintain the strength and image of the organization by increasing the regular performance considering the challenges to be faced in the coming days.
